SOUTH PORTLAND, ME - JUNE 14: Casco Bay High School students Nicky Paterniti, in the stern, and Eowyn Michaels pull ahead to win the final round of cardboard boat races on Tuesday at Willard Beach in South Portland. About 300 students attended the races, the first to be held in three years due to the pandemic, said Principal Derek Pierce. Each team was given the same amount of cardboard and duct tape to design and build their own boat. Tuesday marked the final day of school for ninth, tenth and eleventh graders.
