, ME - NOVEMBER 18: Isabel Catherine Kelley, left, and Andreas von Huene, slide the top of Kelley’s sculpture “Bloom” back onto the metal rod that holds it in place Friday November 18, 2022 after it was move from Stevens Commons to Granite City Park in Hallowell. The sculpture was carved from three pieces of Hallowell granite at the 2021 Hallowell Granite Symposium. It was installed on a cement base overlooking the Kennebec River on the Kennebec River Rail Trail. This is “Flowing Through” a large sculpture by Mark Herrington, carved from several joined pieces of Hallowell granite will be moved to the park later this year too.
